The QE Leadership Academy has continued to go from strength to strength this year as 36 Year 10 pupils from St Francis Xavier School all completed the Badminton England’s Young Leader Award, or the RFU’s Young Leaders Award. The students, who we’re all in Year 10, completed a series of workshops covering topics such as leadership theory and how to successfully organise a practical session. They then had the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test in a number of practical sessions in the sports hall.
Joe Cooke, Teacher of Sport & Leisure at QE said: “Students from SFX have been fantastic! We have a great relationship with the school and they bring strong students each year. The students delivered really strong ses
sions in the sports hall, and their knowledge and input during the theory aspects was brilliant. Well done to all involved.”
