A group of pupils from Bedale High School have paid a visit to our Health & Social Care department today as they took part in a Healthcare Workshop. The workshop was designed to give an introduction into Level 3 Health & Social Care and centered around an interactive session where the pupils learned how to successfully take and record blood pressure. The session also gave an insight into careers and opportunities within the sector.
Course Leader, Reece Farrell, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to offer workshops like this and I hope that today’s activities will inspire pupils to consider Health & Social Care as an option when choosing their future career path. Today’s group have rolled their sleeved up and really got involved with the interactive sessions. They’ve been great!”
