Our Knit and Knatter Group brings together students who share a passion for knitting while making a difference in the community. Currently, the group is focused on producing small knitted hats for charity this Christmas season.
Under the guidance of group leader Helen Smith, the Knit and Knatter Group creates a welcoming environment where students can express their creativity and connect with one another. Helen remarked, “It’s great to see the kids come together in a safe space, where they can have fun, make friends, and learn new skills.”
This enriching activity not only fosters a sense of community among participants but also encourages teamwork and collaboration. As students knit for a good cause, they are reminded of the positive impact they can have on others, all while enjoying a relaxing and enjoyable craft.
