Our students and groups shone brightly among the winners. Liam Ford received the Academic Excellence award, recognising his outstanding commitment to his studies. Adiy Ahmed’s dedication to mental health and wellness earned him not only the Services to Mental Health and Wellbeing award but also the prestigious title of Young Citizen of the Year. His contributions have made a profound impact, demonstrating the power of empathy and action.

Our Interact Club was awarded Exceptional Young Volunteer, honouring their tireless efforts in volunteer projects that support communities both locally and globally. This club, made up of young, compassionate leaders, continues to inspire others to make a positive difference. Additionally, Storm Basketball, a team active in our Enrichment programme, received the Contribution to Sport award, celebrating their role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and athletic excellence within the community.

The event was a resounding success, celebrating the power go above and beyond to uplift those around them. Each awardee is a testament to the strength of dedication and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on Darlington and making it a truly remarkable place to live and grow.
