The festive spirit was in full swing in college with a Christmas Treasure Hunt hosted on the new Student Union Instagram page. Each day, a new clue led students to different parts of the college, keeping excitement high as they raced to solve the riddles. On the final day, students were challenged to solve a tricky riddle and deliver a specific phrase to a member of staff. The lucky winners Ethan Newton and Jonathan Simpson walked away with an early Christmas present packed with goodies, including headphones, a power bank, a tote bag, and much more!
Adding to the fun, the college was taken over by ducks, yes, ducks! Over 150 small rubber ducks were hidden across campus, waiting to be discovered by eagle-eyed students. This light hearted scavenger hunt added an extra layer of excitement, with students eagerly searching every corner to spot the elusive ducks.
The Christmas Treasure Hunt and duck takeover brought joy and laughter to QE, providing a break from studies and a chance for students to engage with the college community in a fun, festive way. Events like these show that at QE, there’s always room for creativity, connection, and a bit of holiday cheer!
Well done to Ethan and Jonathan.
