Flamingo Friday Spreads Love and Laughter at QE!

The College was filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of love this Valentine’s Day, thanks to the college’s very own Smile Generators! As part of their ongoing mission to spread positivity, one of our fantastic Smile Generators donned a giant flamingo costume for Flamingo Friday turning heads, lifting spirits, and making everyone’s day a little brighter.

Armed with free red roses, each carrying a message of kindness, and love heart sweets, our flamingo friend popped up around campus, surprising students and staff with small but meaningful gestures. Whether it was a flower, a sweet treat, or simply a cheerful hello, the goal was simple: to make everyone feel valued and appreciated. And judging by the grins and giggles, mission accomplished!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! The Smile Generators are always looking for ways to boost morale, and their next event—Random Acts of Kindness Monday—is just around the corner. Expect more surprise pop-ups, unexpected moments of joy, and plenty of reasons to smile. You never know when a Smile Generator might appear, so keep your eyes peeled and your hearts open!

At QE, kindness is contagious, and thanks to the Smile Generators, the positivity just keeps spreading. Who knew a giant flamingo could make such a big impact? Stay tuned for more feel-good fun coming soon!
