Spotlight on Millie: QE Alumni Joins Six the Musical UK & International Tour

Former Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College student, Millie Readshaw, is set to take centre stage as she joins the cast of Six the Musical for its UK and International Tour 2025/26. Millie will perform as the alternate Catherine of Aragon and Anna of Cleves – a dream role she’s been aspiring to since her teenage years.

Millie, who studied History, Law, and Popular Music at QE, fell in love with the show after seeing it for her 18th birthday. Now, just a few years later, she’ll be stepping into the spotlight herself in one of the world’s most popular modern musicals.

Reflecting on her achievement, Millie shared: “I am beyond excited and incredibly emotional to be part of the cast. I had the most amazing time at QE and recommend it to everyone in the North! I’m very proud to be a QE alumni – especially a Pop Music alumni.”

Six the Musical has become a global phenomenon, reimagining the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives through a powerful pop concert format. Millie’s inclusion in the upcoming tour is not only a personal triumph but also a proud moment for the QE community.

Here’s to an exciting new chapter for Millie – we can’t wait to see her shine on stage!
