Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College Foundation Diploma Final Show Celebrates Outstanding Creative Talent

Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of its Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art, Design, and Media Practice students, showcased in a stunning final exhibition.

This year, 36 talented students presented an extraordinary body of work across a wide range of creative disciplines. The show highlighted innovative and thought-provoking projects in contemporary fashion, fine art painting, architectural model-making, textiles and surface design, illustration, and photography. Each piece demonstrated the students’ creativity, technical skill, and individual artistic voice, drawing enthusiastic praise from staff, peers, and visitors alike.

The Foundation Diploma is designed for students who have completed A-level studies and are looking to build a high-quality portfolio for university progression. This year’s graduates have secured places on some of the UK’s most prestigious art and design degree courses, including the Glasgow School of Art, the London College of Communication, and the University of St Andrews. Their success reflects the course’s commitment to nurturing creative ambition and academic excellence.

Course leader Simon Gregory commented: “The quality and diversity of work this year has been truly outstanding. Our students have pushed boundaries and developed mature, thoughtful responses to a wide range of themes. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their progression to such aspirational destinations.”

The Level 3/4 Art Foundation course at QE is ideal for students seeking a focused and immersive creative experience after A-levels. With expert guidance and access to specialist facilities, it offers the perfect environment to refine skills and prepare for higher education.

There are still a few places available for the upcoming academic year. Interested students are encouraged to get in touch with QE Enquiries at enquiries@qeliz.ac.uk for more information.
