Parents and carers of first-year students turned out in great numbers for Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College’s recent Higher Education Fair. The event provided a valuable opportunity to explore future pathways and gain tailored advice from a wide range of higher education institutions.
Around 40 universities from across the country attended the fair, offering bespoke information about their courses, university life, and admissions processes. Representatives were on hand to answer questions and support families in navigating the next steps after college.
The evening proved to be an informative and inspiring occasion for students and their families, reinforcing QE’s commitment to supporting students in making informed decisions about their futures.
“It was fantastic to see so many parents and carers engaging with universities,” said Meirion baker, Assistant Principal. “Events like this are crucial in helping students feel confident about their next steps.”
Adele Kirby from the University of Law added: “Thank you so much for inviting us to a brilliant event, we had so much interest in our different courses and lots of fantastic questions were asked by students and parents.”
