Every year the Royal Society of Chemistry holds a competition for A level chemistry students. One of our students, Sam Young, took part in this year’s 56th International Chemistry Olympiad. The students are set extremely challenging questions in a 2 hour paper. Their marks are submitted to the RSC who then rank them according to their score. Sam achieved a silver award certificate for his participation in this event. 15000 students took part across the whole country and Sam’s excellent score placed him easily inside the top 10%.
We are really proud of Sam’s achievement – well done!
