Health and Social Care students had an amazing opportunity to take part in a full day experience taking part in interactive skill sessions, learning what it is like to be midwife, the core skills needed, an insight into the profession and expert advice on how to apply for university. Oh.. and they also helped to deliver a baby!
Reece Farrell, Course Leader for Heath and Social Care commented “Our students had such an amazing opportunity to work directly with the Midwifery team who were so friendly, knowledgeable and inspirational. The whole day allowed students to see and explore first-hand how rewarding, challenging and life changing the role of a midwife is. Thank you to everyone from NHS CDDFT for making this possible.”
