Last week 39 keen first and second year Law students took a trip to the capital to see legal London and explore Law beyond the confines of the course. Students had the exciting opportunity to visit the Tower of London, the Supreme Court, and the Houses of Parliament. In addition, students engaged in a mock trial at the Royal Courts of Justice and attended a production of Witness for the Prosecution.
Ellie White, teacher of Law, says ‘this was a fantastic trip which we have all thoroughly enjoyed. Students engaged really well with all activities, and they enjoyed being able to see the Courts which we discuss in class. I was really proud of all of my students for the way that they engaged in these activities, and it was lovely to see new friendships being made’.
First year Law student Miruna adds ‘The London trip was an amazing opportunity, filled with beautiful sights and rich with history. It made me more eager to pursue a career in law. Definitely an experience not worthy of forgetting’.
