The College recently hosted its annual Employment Fair, providing students with the opportunity to explore a wide range of career prospects and connect with more than 30 employers from diverse sectors. The event attracted a variety of businesses, including Cleveland Police, Cummins, and Freeman Johnson, all eager to engage with students and share valuable insights into the career opportunities available.
The Employment Fair offered a platform for students to engage directly with potential employers, discuss future job opportunities, and learn about internships, volunteering, and work experience options.
Lydia Elliott, QE’s Jobs Coach commented: “We were joined by 30 local employers for our annual Employment Fair to advertise careers within a variety of different sectors to our students. All students had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with employers about their futures and gain insight into jobs, volunteering, and work experience opportunities available. It was a busy day full of opportunities and great conversations.”
The event provided students with the tools and connections needed to explore their career options in a supportive and engaging environment. Employers praised the high level of student engagement and interest, highlighting the event as a key opportunity for bridging the gap between education and employment.
QE is committed to providing students with access to resources that support their career development and success.
