Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form student are celebrating another year of amazing exam results with a pass rate of 99%, 827 A*/A grades being awarded and 101 students achieving at least 3 A*/A grades.
Some exceptional individual performances underline the success of QE’s students. George McAdam from Darlington achieved 4 A* grades in Geology, Maths, Further Maths and Physics will study Geophysics at Imperial College London. James Ingram, also from Darlington, achieved 4 A* grades in Computer Science, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is progressing to the University of York to study Computer Science. Ewan Coxon from Stockton-on-Tees has achieved 4 A* grades in Computer Science, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is going to Edinburgh University to study Mathematics. His twin brother James Coxon has also achieved 4 A* grades in Geology, Maths Further Maths and Physics and is progressing to the University of Warwick to study Mathematics. Kate Morgan from Bishop Auckland has achieved 3 A* grades in Psychology, Graphics and Fine Art and is continuing at QE to study Art Foundation. Imogen Craggs from Darlington is progressing to study Psychology at Edinburgh University from Darlington after gaining 4 A* grades in English Language, English Literature, Psychology and Extended project Qualification. Liam Ford from Stockton on Tees has achieved 4 A* grades in Biology, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is going to study Mathematics at Durham University. Cara Neild from Darlington has achieved 4 A* grades in Computer Science, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is progressing to Nottingham University to study Mathematics. Sam Beukenholdt from Darlington has also achieved 4 A* grades in Chemistry, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is going to study Chemical Engineering at the Imperial College of London. Catherine Ralph from Richmond has achieved 4 A* grades in English Literature, Further Maths, Maths and Physics and is going to study Physics at the University of Manchester.
Kai Siderman-Wolter from Darlington will read Geography at University of Oxford, Mansfield College after gaining 3 A* grades in Geography, Geology, Extended Project Qualification and an A grade in German. Charlie Stephenson from Darlington achieved 3 A* grades in Further Maths, Maths and Physics and an A grade in Chemistry and will study Physics at the University of Durham. Rosemary Jury is going to progress to Birmingham University to study Physics after securing 3 A* grades in Maths, Physics and Psychology and an A in Further Maths. Amy McAllister achieved 3 A* grades in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and an A in Chemistry and will study study Engineering at Cambridge University King’s College.
