Rainbows, Cakes, and Kindness at QE for LGBT+ History Month!

The College is bursting with color this February as students and staff celebrate LGBT+ History Month in style! The college is awash with rainbows, showing support for the LGBT+ community and promoting inclusivity across campus.

As part of the celebrations, QELGBT hosted a fantastic cake sale, raising funds for a homeless charity. The event was a huge success, with students enjoying an array of delicious homemade treats, from chocolate delights to rainbow cupcakes. Adding a fun Valentine’s twist, adorable Valentine ducks were also up for grabs, spreading love and positivity throughout the college.

The atmosphere was full of joy, support, and community spirit, reflecting QE’s commitment to equality and kindness. With every bite of cake and every duck adopted, students not only enjoyed a sweet treat but also contributed to an important cause.

LGBT+ History Month is all about education, awareness, and celebration, and QE is proud to champion diversity in a fun and meaningful way. A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought, and supported—together, we’re making a difference, one rainbow and one cake at a time!
