Sport Leaders Shine at Darlington School Sport Partnership Tennis Tournament

We were delighted to host the Darlington School Sport Partnership Year 4 Tennis Tournament, bringing together talented primary pupils for a day of exciting competition.

The event showcased outstanding sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and skill as Year 4 pupils took to the courts. Players demonstrated great teamwork and determination, making the tournament a memorable experience for all involved.

A special mention goes to our dedicated Sports Leaders, who did an exceptional job umpiring throughout the tournament. Their professionalism and leadership ensured smooth matches and a fair, enjoyable competition.

Chloe Knights, student commented: “”It was a great opportunity to practice our leadership skills and support young people with their participation in the competition. It was nice to be able to support them to succeed, enjoy and have fun.”

“We are incredibly proud of all the participants and especially our Sports Leaders, who showed fantastic commitment in their officiating roles,” said Paul Carroll, Sport and Leisure teacher. “Events like this highlight the importance of youth sports in fostering teamwork, resilience, and a love for the game.”

We extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this event and look forward to hosting more opportunities for primary pupils in the future.
