Twelve students will brave the cold and sleep out on the pavement to raise funds for Centrepoint, a charity dedicated to helping young people escape homelessness. The students are participating in the “Sleep Out, So Others Can Sleep In” event, aiming to raise money that will allow Centrepoint to provide safe accommodation, education, and support for homeless youth.
Megan Holmes, one of the students taking part, shared her thoughts on the challenge: “I’m sure it’ll be cold, but it has to be worth it to change the life of someone my age.” Her words reflect the compassion and determination driving all the students as they give up their comfort to make a real difference in the lives of others.
By sleeping out, the students are not only raising money, but they are also raising awareness about youth homelessness. The funds will go directly to Centrepoint’s work, which helps thousands of young people find the support they need to build a better future.
These students are showing that, through collective effort and kindness, they can help ensure that no young person has to face life on the streets alone. Every contribution matters—together, they are making a lasting impact.
